A long-hidden interview with Nikola Tesla, rediscovered after 83 years, reveals remarkable facets of the inner world of this legendary inventor. Tesla is remembered not only as a brilliant physicist and engineer, but also as a man of mystery, someone who pondered the eternal, the invisible, and the continuation of life after physical death.

To finance his groundbreaking experiments, he promised his supporters wonders, from wireless transmission of electricity to teleportation. His mind was far ahead of his time. But despite all his genius, Tesla remained a deeply human person, shaped by hope, fear, and belief.

He often reflected on immortality, the divine, and what awaits us after our last breath. Not long ago, researchers stumbled upon an interview that Tesla gave to a journalist in 1930. At age 74, Tesla’s life spanned 86 years, and although the exact date of this conversation remains unclear, the ideas expressed in it still impress with their depth and relevance.

The Interview

Interviewer: People believe that in your laboratory you determined the direction of the 20th and 21st centuries. You were the first to split an atom, discovered cosmic rays that are black in color, and built a device that can cause earthquakes. Some even say that you will be remembered as the one who revealed the secret that earth, air, and water are permeated with the living energy of the ether. What do you think of that?

Tesla: Yes, that is indeed one of my most important discoveries, but I feel defeated because I could not bring all my visions to life.

Interviewer: Mr. Tesla, what exactly have you been unable to accomplish?

Tesla: My goal was to illuminate the entire planet. I could have created a second sun. We have enough energy available, but unfortunately, humanity is not yet ready to accept such revelations. In Colorado, for example, I charged the earth with energy.

And take the compositions of Mozart and Bach, which contain a positive force that can be harnessed. Also hidden in the depths of the earth is energy of peace, love, and joy.

I have spent many years trying to understand how these forces act on the human mind. The scent and beauty of flowers are also medicines; sunlight nourishes us. Life manifests itself in endless forms, and it is the task of the scientist to discover it in every substance.

The work of my entire life has been guided by this quest. I know that I will not reveal every secret, but I will never stop investigating. We are only beginning to feel the invisible forces that permeate the universe. In about 100 years, scientists will openly begin to speak of dark energy, a force that permeates the cosmos and shapes gravity and the expansion of the universe.

I believe that the energy that sustains the universe is not only a physical source, it is something greater. We call it ether, others call it the divine spark, but its essence is the same. All living beings are nourished by this force. It is hidden in the depths of the planet, in the structures of light, in the harmony of sounds, and in thoughts.

I discovered a star that can disappear. According to my calculations, it is located in our galaxy. Its light is so dense that it can be enclosed in a sphere the size of an apple, and yet that sphere would weigh more than the entire solar system.

Interviewer: You often mention a kind of pain that permeates the universe, what does that mean?

Tesla: Cosmic pain is what the soul feels when harmony is disrupted. Many people know nothing of it, but it causes disease, suffering, poverty, wars, and all the horrors of human existence. We cannot eliminate it completely, but awareness of its existence can already reduce suffering.

We are made of the same substance, our souls are connected by invisible threads. When a child or a good person dies somewhere on Earth, you suddenly feel an inexplicable sadness. This is precisely that pain, not personal, but shared, cosmic.

Without the awareness that we are one, humanity is doomed to repeat its mistakes.

The world is a tapestry in which every thread affects the other. We cannot do anything that does not resonate elsewhere. Good generates good, evil brings suffering. Many of humanity’s problems could be solved if we simply stopped doing evil.

Man is inclined to destroy, it is ingrained in him, but this is not a final judgment. We have a choice every day. The key is kindness, doing no harm is the highest expression of strength.

True victory is not victory over an enemy, it is victory over the desire to destroy. We must learn to resolve conflicts without violence. This is crucial for humanity’s survival, especially now that the time of great scientific developments is already at the door.

God is light, it is the original energy from which everything has come. This light has no form, demands no worship, it simply exists. It is in everything, in us, in the air, in the stars. People attribute human characteristics to God to understand him better, but the true power of God lies in his impersonality and infinity.

Interviewer: Are you claiming that all matter is a form of light?

Tesla: Exactly, light energy. This is the original, everything else is derived from it. Matter is light frozen in a certain configuration. When one understands that, one understands that all living beings are connected to each other. We are not bodies, we are waves, vibrations, parts of a broad spectrum.

You will not die because you were never born. You have always existed in some form. We are only temporarily in these bodies, in this world. When everything ends, we simply move to another state. Everything is energy and it never disappears.

Interviewer: What can you say about your personal life?

Tesla: I never had a wife or children. Only in isolation can one fully dedicate oneself to observing the world and its mysteries. A family requires energy and I did not have it in abundance. Everything I had, I gave to my work.

Everything is electricity. In the beginning, there was an infinite source of light and from it arose the substances that formed the universe and the Earth with all its diversity of life. We are accustomed to thinking that light is what we see, but where light is black. It contains the greatest mystery of the universe. A single quantum of it can contain nuclear, chemical, mechanical, and yet undiscovered energy. One such particle would be enough to change Earth’s orbit.

The future belongs to people of light, those who carry knowledge, who do not fear the truth, who choose good, even in the darkest circumstances. Humanity is not ready yet, but it is awakening and that is crucial.
