Written by the Liberteque.com Team. May 2021.
The mission of Liberteque.com is to be your most trusted ally in your pursuit of health and well-being. We are dedicated to bringing you authoritative, accessible, and practical content that inspires and guides you toward the best possible health outcomes for you and your family. The content and experiences produced by Liberteque.com are created according to strict editorial and medical guidelines to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and clarity.
You can be assured that we remain fully committed to our editorial independence. Aside from general input on broad topic areas, sponsors are not permitted to influence the editorial content of Liberteque.com. In some cases, Liberteque.com may offer co-created or branded content in collaboration with sponsors, and/or present content created by sponsors. Such content is always clearly labeled and further explained in sections 5 and 6 below.
If you would like to advertise with Liberteque.com, please contact us here. Below are the specific guidelines we follow regarding the types of advertisements we accept:
1. We approve advertisements
We reserve the right to determine which types of advertisements are accepted and displayed across Liberteque.com properties. We also reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or remove advertisements at any time and for any reason. Advertisers will be promptly informed of any refusal, cancellation, or removal, along with an explanation. We further reserve the right to determine appropriate advertisement placement across Liberteque.com properties.
2. We do not endorse advertised products or services
Although products may appear on our site in the form of advertisements, acceptance of an advertisement does not constitute an endorsement of the advertised product(s) or service(s), nor of the company that manufactures, distributes, or promotes them. In some cases, the Liberteque.com editorial team may review or rank certain products or services. Such reviews or rankings are determined solely by the editorial team and are not influenced by financial relationships or advertising arrangements with companies providing those products or services.
3. We do not accept certain types of advertisements
We will not accept advertisements that are factually inaccurate or, in our judgment, in poor taste. Pharmaceutical advertisements are accepted only for approved indications as determined by the relevant authorities. Advertised products must be available on the market and readily obtainable. Liberteque.com will not permit advertisements for harmful, illegal, or offensive products or services.
Advertisements may not contain fraudulent, misleading, or offensive material, including content that ridicules, attacks, or discriminates against an individual or group based on age, color, nationality, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability. Advertisements may not include defamatory, libelous, or threatening information. They may not relate to alcohol, firearms, ammunition, fireworks, gambling, pornography, tobacco, political campaigns, or simulate news or emergency situations. All advertisements must clearly identify the advertiser. Any advertisement that could be mistaken for editorial content will be clearly labeled as advertising.
4. We clearly distinguish advertisements from editorial content
In all cases, we maintain a clear separation between advertising and editorial content. All advertisements across Liberteque.com properties are clearly and unambiguously identified as such. Clicking on an advertisement will direct users either to the advertiser’s website or to a sponsor center within a Liberteque.com property. Sponsored information centers are labeled accordingly, with the sponsoring entity clearly identified.
5. We clearly distinguish sponsored from non-sponsored content
Liberteque.com seeks sponsorships from reliable and credible research organizations, manufacturers, and service providers. Sponsorships provide financial support for Liberteque.com and offer benefits to users by providing up-to-date information about health services, medications, and treatments.
Editorial content sponsored by an advertiser remains subject to our editorial policy and is reviewed by our editorial team. When content (sponsored content, co-created content, or branded content) is provided or influenced by a named sponsor, we take meaningful steps to ensure users do not confuse it with Liberteque.com’s original editorial content. Native advertising refers to links or advertisements within content that direct users to other material. Liberteque.com may also present advertising messages, advertisements, or sponsored posts on its social media channels.
6. Affiliate program (e-commerce links within Liberteque.com content)
As part of the article creation process, our editors may include links to relevant products they believe may be useful to readers. While all products are selected independently, Liberteque.com may receive compensation if you make a purchase on a retailer’s site within 24 hours of clicking one of these links.
7. We clearly distinguish partner program content
From time to time, Liberteque.com partners with products, services, or organizations that align with our mission. These are evaluated for quality, and only those considered valuable and relevant to our users are presented. Liberteque.com does not provide medical review for such content and is not responsible for delivering the products or services described on those pages.
Partner content of this type is labeled to indicate that it has not gone through our standard editorial process and follows these advertising and sponsorship guidelines. In cases where Liberteque.com receives compensation when users purchase or sign up for a product or service, the page may include the following disclosure: “Liberteque.com and our partners may receive a share of the proceeds if you make a purchase through a link above.” Partner pages may also include a “what is this” link directing users to a page explaining the nature of the partnership.
